Treat your Feet!

I think feet are a bit like Marmite – you either love yours or you hate them! Personally; I absolutely LOVE having my feet massaged, and I know that they love it too!

I have two beautiful foot treatments to offer you, and here they are:

Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapy which involves using the thumb and fingers to apply pressure to reflex points on the feet or hands. These points relate to organs, glands and body systems and are known as reflex points – a reflex is when a stimulation at one point brings about a response in another area.

Reflexology is an holistic healing technique, which means that the individual’s mind, body and spirit are taken into account when giving treatment, the aim being to restore balance and harmony to the whole body.

N.B. It is also worth noting that if you have either a Hospital Saturday Fund or Private Health Insurance Policy, it is well worth checking the policy terms and conditions to see if you are eligible to claim costs for your Reflexology treatments, under the ‘Holistic Treatments’ section of your policy. If so; I am able to provide you with a receipt to claim your expenses back – it’s a win-win!

Thai Foot Massage

An ancient form of therapeutic healing, the therapist used thumbs, hands and a wooden acupressure tool to carry out the treatment.

Massage is applied to the lower legs and feet using a range of techniques, including rubbing and vibration, leaving the feet and lower legs feeling wonderfully enlivened and refreshed.
